Home visiting is a prevention strategy designed to:
- support pregnant families
- promote infant and child health
- foster child development and school readiness
- help prevent child abuse and neglect.
Home visiting programs are voluntary and offer vital support to parents as they manage the challenges of raising babies and young children.
